Me and the hubby

Jason's Mother came to town for a few days over this weekend. She gave Jason and I a night out on the town since those nights are so rare these days. There's only been one other time we've gotten to have a date since Sydnee was born, and that night was a total disaster. Sydnee was still a little young and I just worried about her the whole time we were gone and ended up going home early. THIS time we enjoyed the time we had together ALONE and went to dinner and a movie (Juno... GREAT movie). It was a really good night, but we were both anxious to get back home to our baby girl.

I went and had some Valentine pictures taken of Sydnee this past week. The guy that did the session made a fool of himself trying to get Syd to smile, but she just would not have anything to do with him. She's teething really bad right now so she kept grinding her little teeth together. She's got 2 teeth on the bottom, 1 on top and another coming in. The pictures still turned out pretty good. To me, she looks precious no matter of she's smiling or not :)
